Benny Balance is a Te Whanganui-a-Tara-based producer and DJ whose sound blends slow, weighty grooves with tasteful melodics. Favouring the imperfections of drum machines and hardware, his music bridges the gap between intimate listening and energising the dancefloor. His recent EPs have gained support from Rinse FM and Blue Dollar Billz, and his 100% original production mix for Peckham’s Balamii Radio was featured as one of the station’s ‘shows of the month’.
A regular at local institution Club 121, spinning across festival stages at Rhythm and Vines, 121 Festival, Northern Bass and Homegrown, whilst also supporting Harrison BDP, Sally C, and Lazy Wax, Benny is guaranteed to bring a distinctive, floor-filling energy to every set.
