Benny Balance and Shush are Te Whanganui-a-Tara-based producers and DJs whose shared love of house, garage and sample-driven music forms the foundation of their sound. Drawing from backgrounds in hardware production, hip hop, jazz and soul, their sets weave together weighty grooves, swung rhythms, warm melodies and rolling breaks with a focus on thoughtful selection and dancefloor energy.
Together, they bring years of experience behind the decks, with Benny’s productions earning support from Rinse FM, Balamii Radio and Blue Dollar Billz, alongside supporting artists including Harrison BDP, Sally C, Tom Trago and Phasmid, while Shush has spent the past five years curating sold-out events through Wellington creative studio Sector 22.
Expect deep grooves, soulful melodies, swung rhythms and non-stop shoe movement.
