On Saturday the 13th of June, Gordo&Teej present Berlin house legend mic at the Cuba Street Tavern. This long-overdue all-night-long journey will span downtempo, underground deep house, soulful eclectic house, and dub music, all drawn from mic’s expansive vinyl archive.
Having played at countless parties throughout Germany during the 1990s and 2000s, mic is eager to bring the unmistakable sound of Berlin from that era to Te Whanganui-a-Tara.
Representing Gordo&Teej for this party is Theo, bringing with him an extensive collection of underground house, latin, downtempo, and balearic sounds. Having played at clubs and festivals across the motu, Theo has built a reputation for curating intrinsic and unique sets tailored to any setting.
Mic and Theo have been collaborating on music extensively over the last few years, notably their extended back to back sessions over in the shores of Eastbourne can get seriously heated. They are both super excited to bring an Inter generational collaboration of sound to the people of Wellington on this massive evening ahead!
